Students unite for Street Children

Students from The Birla High School, Kolkata, played host to HOPE TY Immersion Programme Students in recent weeks for an afternoon of cultural exchange. During their time together, the students discussed the rights of street children and the mistreatment of the most vulnerable children. Together they then released balloons to symbolise the freedom of childhood, and to mark International Day for Street Children (12th April).

A shared understanding of “how things should be” was reached and resulted in an a unified outpouring of action…Students are committed to the belief: “Be the change you want to see in the world”.
