The countdown is on for this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival and we are very much looking forward to it! Last year’s winner Jennifer Byrne has been an incredible ambassador and we are very proud to work with such an inspirational woman this year.
There was an amazing turnout in glorious sunshine for the 20th anniversary Calcutta Run last Saturday! HOPE is privileged to be partnered with such a great event, organised by the amazing people at the Law Society of Ireland. Thank you to RTE’s Nuala Carey and also to Alison Canavan for taking part and supporting the event this year.
Well done to all who organised and took part in the inaugural NYC Calcutta Run last Sunday! The start/finish was at Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall Park in Lower Manhattan. They braved the threat of lightning storms and ran from City Hall Park to Brooklyn over Manhattan Bridge and back via Brooklyn Bridge (a little over 5k).

Last week we welcomed over 180 guests to The InterContinental Hotel in Ballsbridge for our annual Dublin fundraising lunch. We were absolutely delighted with the huge show of support from new and returning corporate and individual supporters.

This years Student Immersion Programme is well underway with 3 groups having already made the journey to Kolkata. The students spend a memorable week visiting HOPE projects and taking part in cultural exchange activities.
