Join Yoga For HOPE

and celebrate International Yoga Day!

International Yoga Day on 21 June is a global day that celebrates the health benefits of yoga. This year’s theme - humanity - will raise awareness of the holistic nature of yoga and encourage everyone to include yoga in their daily lives for enhanced well-being.

Throughout June, Yoga for HOPE will be an opportunity to celebrate International Yoga Day, celebrate the benefits of yoga, and also help to raise funds for some of the poorest and most disadvantaged street-connected children in the world.

Yoga for HOPE is your opportunity to support life-changing work and give something back to the country that gave the world yoga. Whether you are a yoga novice, practice regularly, or are a yoga teacher, you can get involved!

HOPE's life-changing and holistic approach

HOPE is more than just a charity – it is a community of like-minded people with a real passion to make a positive and sustainable change to some of the world’s poorest and most neglected children. We believe in a holistic approach to education and the all-round health and well-being of the children in our care, and this includes regularly practising yoga in HOPE’s Residential Childcare Centres.

Upcoming In-Person Classes

Below you will find a list of in-person events.

How can you get involved?

Here are some yoga inspired fundraising ideas to get you started!

If you teach yoga

  • Dedicate a class to HOPE and invite students to donate.
  • Hold a class at an unusual location – a beach, a forest, or a local landmark.
  • Hold a family yoga day; make your event fun by offering family, senior or toddler lessons.
  • Host a Yoga-thon – 24 hours of classes over a weekend in various yoga disciplines.

If you practise yoga

  • Set yourself a yoga challenge, such as 25 sun salutations a day for a week!
  • Hold a competition with friends and family to show off your most advanced yoga positions.
  • Involve your local community group by inviting a yoga teacher to teach mindfulness techniques.
  • Sign up to a Yoga for HOPE event listed above!
