We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone.
Thank you to Nick Butcher of Maples and Calder Maples in the Community for hosting the event today and for your incredible support this year.
Thanks to all the reps and to Laura Hannon of Maples also won the reps prize so well done to you all fo rallying so many.
Thank you President of the Law Society Stuart Gilhooly for implementing the successful cycle and for your ongoing support this year.
We would also like to say a huge thanks to Calcutta Run Committee, lead by Eoin MacNeill and Cillian MacDomhnaill together with Catherine, Kim, Mark, Hilary and Deirdre. You are a very special team and we are absolutely privileged to be a part of the event, and thanks also to Craig and the law Society PR team for your wonderful efforts.
We have to thank Gavin Duffy, for his leadership and mentoring of everyone this year. He is a most entertaining MC whose humour and good nature shone through.
To the rest of the Law Society staff, all the members of the legal profession, to all the amazing volunteers, some who travelled to Dublin helped out and stewards on the day and to Deric Ó h’Artagáin and Aoibheann McCaul, on behalf of the children and communities with whom we work, the HIVE Emergency Response Unit and (BPWT) Bhorukha Snehneer Protection Home where the funding from the run will go directly to, we thank you all.
With your support we are helping human beings in dire circumstances who would not otherwise dare allow themselves to HOPE.
We cannot wait for next year!
