Actress Dame Judi Dench, Patron of The Hope Foundation, TV Presenter Sinead Kennedy and a host of Irish celebrities band together to support the Christmas Gifts of HOPE Appeal in aid of The Hope Foundation.
Dame Judi, Sinead, Martin King, Deric O’Hartigan, Senator David Norris, Declan O’Rourke, Amanda Brunker and Paddy Andrews to name a few are asking people to choose a Gift of HOPE for their family, colleagues and teachers, and make a real difference to a child’s life this Christmas. Gifts range from €5 for a pair of shoes to a life-changing gift of €250 to sponsor a child’s education for a year and can be purchased from the HOPE Shop.
Speaking about Gifts of HOPE from RTE studios in Montrose, Sinead stated, “I am delighted to support the launch of the Hope Foundation Christmas campaign, Gifts of HOPE start from just 5 euro on the Hope Foundation website, or you can try your hand at Indian cooking with a fantastic Indian Recipe book for 15 euro. We can really make a difference by supporting in whatever way we can, no gift is too small.”
Judi Dench, a patron of the Hope Foundation speaking from the UK where she has just returned from filming, encouraged people to support the Gifts of HOPE. “I am delighted to support the Hope Foundation’s Gifts of HOPE appeal this year. As a Patron, I know that even a small donation will make a difference to a child’s life. Please think of HOPE when you are buying gifts this Christmas. The children are born on the streets, never knowing the comfort and security of a safe home. HOPE are on the ground making a difference to each child but they need our help to continue to strive towards a world where it should never hurt to be a child. Thank you. JD.”
This year gifts also include the wonderful cook book “Anglo Indian Recipes & Remedies” by William (Bill) Lethorn. The cookbook is a legacy of much loved family recipes and was kindly sponsored by Green Saffron to ensure that 100% of the proceeds will go to The Hope Foundation.BUY A GIFT OF HOPE
