The Hope Foundation is looking forward to their annual Santa Splash for HOPE this Christmas in Cork!
Whether you want to wrap up warm with a wetsuit or brave the cold in the bare essentials, HOPE is encouraging all their supporters to come out on Sunday 6th December and splash into the cold Atlantic Ocean.
All participants are encouraged to dress in Christmas themed outfits and swim/splash/get their ankles wet in aid of HOPE. Surf boards, boogie boards, beach balls and footballs are welcome. Last year the event was a huge success with lots of festive swimmers joining in the fun and raising vital funds for The Hope Foundation.
This year we aim to make our Santa Splash an even bigger success and are inviting you to take part. Get your local schools, swimming clubs, companies and friends to make a splash for the street and slum children of Kolkata who really need our help.
So join in the fun, make a splash and who knows the man himself, Santa Claus, might make an appearance!
Sponsorship cards are available to all supporters, and all proceeds go to The Hope Foundation. All members of the public are welcome to attend the event. Even if you cannot splash – join us on the day to encourage those who do! Social distancing will be adhered to and we are guaranteed gale force winds to blow any sneaky COVID far away! Everyone will stay in their cars til the last minute and don’t forget to wear a mask!
