[vc_row margin_top=”20px”][vc_column][vc_column_text]As a result of the incredible response to our emergency appeal, and the acute need for beds for patients increasing by the day, we have today, 14th May, opened a Satellite Health Facility. The facility will open with 15 beds and it is expected to increase to 50 as we acquire more floors in the building. This is to treat patients with mild to moderate symptoms, or those recovering from critical care. This will free up beds in the HOPE Hospital for those who are seriously ill and require more specialised treatment.
As you can see from the photos below, the building was in a dilapidated state and in just a week our incredible team transformed it in to a high quality medical facility. This is a remarkable turnaround, and a true testament to what can be achieved in an emergency, in real time, with adequate funding and an experienced team on the ground.
