[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On 25th May Cyclone Yaas devastated the coastal area of West Bengal, south east of Kolkata. Over a thousand villages were completely submerged, rendering farmland useless and leaving thousands of families without a means of sustaining themselves while trying to rebuild their shattered homes and lives.
HOPE immediately sent an Emergency Response Team to the beleaguered region, distributing food and tarpaulin for shelter. Watch the video below to find out more about the situation and the response.
